Mercury Christmas Charity Giveaway!

This holiday season, Mercury is spreading festive cheer with our exciting Christmas Tree Bauble Competition! The competition invites participating clients and partners to join the spirit of fun and generosity by decorating their office Christmas trees with the Mercury Bauble, snapping a photo, and sharing it on LinkedIn. With a simple tag to Mercury, a chosen charity, and the hashtag #WeAreMercury, participants can win a £1000 donation to a charity of their choice.The winning entry will be the post that generates the best engagement ratio of likes, shares, and comments. The deadline for entries is 20th December, but participants are encouraged to post early to maximise their chances. "This competition is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the festive season while giving back to the community," said Daniel Fox, Marketing Manager at Mercury. "So, grab your bauble, light up your tree, and join the #WeAreMercury spirit today!"

Terms and Conditions

1. The competition is organised by Mercury xRM ("Mercury"), located at De Montfort House, Coleshill B46 3BP.

2. To enter, participants must:

  • Decorate a Christmas tree featuring the Mercury Bauble.
  • Take a photo of the decorated tree.
  • Post the photo on LinkedIn, tagging Mercury and a chosen charity, and using the hashtag #WeAreMercury.

- Entries must be original and owned by the participant.

3. Entries open on 25th November 2024 and close at 08:00AM GMT on 20th December 2024. Entries submitted after this time will not be considered.

4. The winner will be determined based on the post with the greatest ratio of likes, shares, and comments during the competition period, relative to the number of Mercury User Licenses their company holds. Mercury reserves the right to validate engagement metrics.

5. The prize is a donation to the winner's chosen registered UK charity. The charity must be registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales. Mercury will donate £1000 on behalf of the winner.

6. Only one entry per company is allowed. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.

- Posts must not contain offensive, inappropriate, or discriminatory content. Mercury reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate.

- By entering, participants grant Mercury the right to share their submitted content for promotional purposes, including on social media and Mercury’s website.

7. The winner will be announced on 20th December 2024 via Mercury’s LinkedIn page and contacted through LinkedIn messaging.

- The winner must respond within 3 working days to claim the prize. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture, and Mercury reserves the right to select another winner.

8. Any personal information provided will be used solely for the administration of the competition and will not be shared with third parties without prior consent. For more information, see Mercury’s Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability. Mercury is not responsible for technical issues, including LinkedIn outages, that may prevent entry or affect engagement metrics. Mercury accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in the competition.

10. In the event of a dispute, Mercury’s decision is final. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Mercury reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.
